A Beginner’s Guide to Fruit Wine Flavors

If you haven’t had the pleasure of trying fruit wine before, our friendly staff would be more than happy to have you at one of our wine tasting events. However, if you’d like to know a bit more about what to expect, here are just a couple wine flavors that we have to offer at our winery:

  • Elderberry: Elderberry wine is subtly sweet, rich, and has a flavor that often reminds people of blueberries or black currants. This flavorful option can pair well with all types of foods, ranging from dark chocolate desserts to aged cheeses and roasted meats.
  • Peach: Our light and bright peach wine will remind you of the natural deliciousness of ripe summer peaches. Its delicate sweet flavor profile pairs well with salads, grilled seafood dishes, and creamy desserts, such as key lime pie.
  • Cran-Apple: Pairing cranberries and apples is always a winning flavor combination, as the sweetness of apples perfectly complements the tart cranberry notes. It has a distinct, tangy flavor that can enhance many seasonal favorites, such as turkey or glazed ham.
  • Blueberry: Our blueberry wine has a refreshingly sweet and subtly tart flavor that might remind you of picking fresh blueberries in the summertime. Blueberry wine is an excellent choice if you’re eating grilled meats, tangy cheeses, or desserts featuring other types of berries.
